The National - ‘Terrible Love’ (Spotify/iTunes)
It’s been a while since I’ve done a post like this. But I think that this song (and album) is worth one.
I believe that I’m quite late on The National bandwagon unfortunately. They are a band that have been around for almost a decade and I am surprised not to of stumbled across some of their material earlier than I have.
The track I’ve posted is the opener to their latest LP ‘High Violet’ which is completely flawless all the way throughout. I suggest you give it a listen if you like what ‘Terrible Love’ has given to your ears. It’s quite dark and broody, I’ll admit, but the progressive style and harmonic tones do make it incredibly enjoyable.
