BBC Philharmonic Presents...Nero Symphony 2808 →
Actually one of the best pieces of music I have ever heard. A true example of why you shouldn’t slag off electronic music producers for having no musical knowledge/expertise or talent, and that everything they do is just a few noises that they have put together on a computer.
Nero have done the Dubstep scene justice as one of real musical significance in my book now, whereas in earlier years I thought it a mere “fad” that will pass quickly over the generation.
Music like this isn’t just created “because you can” - it takes real thought and knowledge of how music, in it’s broadest sense, “works”. To understand how powerful the use of dynamics can be, how instrumentation can be implemented to enhance the melodies that rightly deserve it. There’s just 2 points that make this piece of music fantastic for me.
I seriously think this is worth the listen, not just for Dubstep fans but for Classical fans as well. I might dare let my Grandfather listen to this, and see what he thinks.
